Hong Kong – Interesting Plant

I was wandering around a park in Hong Kong and I saw this interesting plant. What was cool about it was that the top of the leafs were a normal green color. But the underside of the leafs are a deep red color.
Taiwan – Dahu Park and Bailusi Shan Hiking Trail

While walking around Dahu Park I found a interesting looking hiking trail leading into the hills.
Along the trail there were these huge spiders. Really frickin huge, he was probably about 5 or 6 inches across. I would see one and stop to take a photo, then walk a little farther and find one that was even bigger.

Coming back down the hill I slipped on some wet rocks and ended up with this cool souvenir of my trip.
Japan – Gundam Statue

A giant 1:1 scale Gundam statue is being constructed on Odaiba for the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the Gundam animation series.
Japan – Rockabillies in Yoyogi Park

One of the regular sights of Yoyogi Park on the weekends are the Rockabillies. Every time I’ve been to Yoyogi the Rockabillies are there rockin’ out.

Every once in a while he would go off to the side and start blasting the hair spray.
And then he would pull out a hair drier.
Japan – Yoyogi Park

Yoyogi Park is a huge park in Tokyo, located between Shibuya and Shinjuku. Every weekend the park is packed with people out enjoying the weather.
Throughout the park there well be little groups of people that meet up to do activities together. Pretty much any activity you can thing of, no matter how strange, there well be a little group doing it.
Dribbling soccer balls.
Practicing for some kind of dance or play.
Juggling.
Sword Fighting.
No clue.
Bagpipes.
Dancing.
This guy was dancing away, the only problem was that he was by himself, it seems kind of sad.
I have no idea what was up with this guy.
Japan – Kasai Rinkai Park

On the beach at Kasai Rinkai Park there was a group of people going around digging in the sand. So I went over to see what they were digging for.
That were catching this little guys, I’m not sure exactly what they are.
They would catch them by finding one of their holes and then dumping salt on the hole. This would cause the little guys to come poking out where they could be grabbed.
